This course focuses on directional valves, relays and switches, pneumatic, hydraulic, electro-hydraulic and electro- pneumatic control systems, and programming use in PLC, DSC and SCADA and their applications as well as P, PD, and PID control, and Designing a simple process control system using P, PD and PID controller.

This course includes topics such as: ISM Code Company management manual, SMS, PMS.. Security ISPFS Code, Marpol regulation, STCW Convention and STCW Code for competency and proficiency of Cadets, MLC 2006 Health, safety, grievances and complaint procedures on-board.

 


This course focuses on AC & DC generators, power distribution, and operation of generators as well as DC & AC motors, motor operation control, electric motor starting strategies, electric motor difficulties and remedies, and developing operational safety procedures for low-voltage and high-voltage installations on board ships and offshore vessels.


This course focus on maintenance and repair of electrical and electronic equipment and developing safety procedures for low voltage and high voltage equipment’s onboard the ship.

The course discusses achieving safe engineering operations by proactively managing personnel, equipment, and information. Review the team roles, human factors, and situational awareness required to implement a proper ERM program, and learn how good ERM practices save vessels.
